What is it?

The Sewing Pattern Organiser does just that – it keeps a database of your sewing patterns, allowing you to search easily for a particular pattern or type of pattern without emptying all your drawers or boxes.

  • Description
  • Fabric types
  • Comments
• Search on any of these fields and browse the result set
• Also store other information (non-searchable):
  • Fabric requirements
  • Scanned picture / diagram
• Easily add new or edit existing patterns

System Requirements

It will not run on Windows 3. Does anybody care?
It has been tested extensively on Windows 98 and Windows XP.
It has not been tested on Windows 95, Windows ME, Windows NT or Windows 2000, however there is no reason why it should not run on these systems.
It requires Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.5 Service Pack 3 to be installed. Your computer may already have this installed, if not then it may be downloaded from the Microsoft web site. Further details of this are on the Download page.
A display resolution of at least 800 x 600 in 256 colours is recommended.
Other than that, it should work OK on any computer which will run the operating system.
Disk space requirements are minimal. As with all computer software, the more memory you have, the better.
The help file is in Adobe Acrobat format, so Acrobat Reader is required. This is available free from the Adobe web site.

Pattern Database 1.0 is shareware.
